The Kiwanis Club of West Monroe will be hosting our 21st Annual Pancake Day April 27th at the West Monroe Convention Center! Tickets are $7.00 each for dine-in or carry-out, and proceeds from each meal directly fund organizations and programs that benefit the children of Ouachita Parish. Tickets will be available through West Monroe Key Club, Origins Bank, WOD-RX Elite Gear, or through any Kiwanis Club member. Come join us for fellowship and great food!!

Big Bass Tournament on Lake D'Arbonne to help Tyler Wheeler with expenses during his road of recovery. Tyler, A LDWF Agent was shot four times in Morehouse Parish on Jan 7th, during a traffic stop.

This tournament will be directed by Dale Taylor and the weigh in will be at Ludwig Brothers Marine. This will be an hourly tournament from safe light until 6pm, with 6 weigh-ins. Entry fee is $100 a person w/ optional big bass fruit jar. This is not a team tournament, but two anglers are allowed to fish in the same boat. We will also be selling t-shirts and will have a t-shirt hour.

The News-Star and DeltaStyle present 'Ritas on the River!

Back by popular demand is ‘Ritas on the River! This event sold out so quickly in 2016 that more tickets had to be added, and those sold out in less than 24 hours.

The Origin Bank RiverMarket presents our second annual 'Ritas on the River on May 20th from 10 am-3 pm. last year was such a success we decided to go bigger! More tastings and more tickets!

The day will feature tastings from 12 different restaurants and bars from the area as they compete for bragging rights. Like us on Facebook at Downtown RiverMarket and Downtown Monroe for our event page to see who is participating and updates. You can vote your favorite to elect a People's Choice Winner!

A ticket for this event is $25 for 12 tastings from each restaurant and bar. The tastings will be from 11:00a to 3:00 pm and the competition for best margarita will be judged by local curators.

Shopping starts at 10 AM and goes till 4pm.

There will be live music, food trucks, snacks, salsa, sauces, and shopping you won't want to miss out on!

Landry Vineyards Concert on May 20,2017 will feature Code Blue and the Flatliners

The cost is $10.00 adults, young adults 13-18 years $5.00, children 12 and under are free.

Jambalaya, cheese trays, 4 types of boudin, wine bellini's and drinks will be offered for purchase.

Bring lawn chairs or blanket.

Food and cold drinks are allowed. Please DO NOT bring any outside alcohol but support Landry Vineyards through wine purchases.
NO pets.

Credit cards are accepted, cash is preferred as it makes the lines move faster.

Tasting room will be open 11-to the end of the concert for tastings.

We will NOT be hosting private tours on the days of the concert, however you can take a wagon tour through the vineyards during the concert.

Come celebrate an afternoon of fun with your family and community while listening to local music, eating Cajun food and Landry Vineyards wine!

DōMo BrewFest returns on Saturday, June 3rd to the Origin Bank Downtown RiverWalk. It's the event you loved in 2015 and 2016, but even better!

The event kicks off at 3 PM. Ticketholders will enjoy live music, food vendors, and more all while sampling over 150 beers provided by Choice Brands, International Wine & Spirits, Marsala Beverage, Flying Tiger Brewery, Ouachita Brewing Co, and a variety of homebrewers.

BrewFest is hosted by the Downtown Monroe Alliance. All proceeds benefit the beautification of and projects in Downtown Monroe, LA.
